But there are a few more benefits, such as feeling full faster, and with that preventing over-eating, as well as the chewing has been linked to being able to focus better on tasks. (There is a study about chewing gum relating to mental alertness in Germany - do not know the source).
But V 8 is great in cooking, or when you have no time! I keep it in the house!

However, as part of a plan to eat more wisely as a part of healthy nutrition, substituting V8 for the real thing is not the way to go. Instead, think hard about why you don&#039;t eat fruits and veggies, and what you can do to increase your consumption to a high enough level that you don&#039;t need to substitute the drink.
Maybe you need to buy better-quality fruit, or pre-prepared veggies in a sauce that&#039;s not bad for you, or prepackaged salads.</description>
