  • Try them with different things like asparagus is good with chicken or something, peppers and green onions can be used in an omelet, and avocado is great with brown rice which is healthier than white rice in case you’re wondering. But then there is the timeless salad option and all its options. I don’t like dressing with my salad but if that’s your thing, there’s another combo.

Try eating cauliflower, broccoli, or carrots raw with dip. You can opt for a low calorie fat free dip and it really helps with vegetables taste if you don’t like it. Plus you are still getting all of the nutrients. Or you could try V8 juice or even make your own smoothie from home. Just add fruit to the vegetables and it will overpower the taste of the vegetables. My favorite recipe is a homeade juice smoothie
    1 cup seedless purple grapes
    1 carrot
    3 pieces of broccoli
1 cup of cut up watermelon
    1 apple
    1/2 tomato
    1/3 cucumber
Just blend it together in a smoothie maker with 1 cup low fat plain yogurt and 1 cup crushed ice.
It tastes really good despite the ingredients! Good luck on your journey to health

Well done for trying to improve your diet!! Its just a case of getting more used to how veggies taste, rather than any of them tasting nasty. Its best to steam them rather than boil them – just thought of that – because boiling them takes all the goodness out of them and reduces it to mush.
Ok – tasty veg. Broccoli, green beans, sugar snap peas, carrots, new potatoes with mint sauce (yummy), peppers are nice – try making pasta with sugar snap peas, tuna and peppers, thats yummy.
Its also good to chop up some mixed raw veg into tiny bits and keep it in a bowl so you can snack on it.

No, but I’m trying to eat healthy too and I hate veges. Stick with the ones you like and try to find different ways of using them.
Like roasted vege parcels (wrap in a tortilla) & serve with zero fat greek yoghurt mixed with some ground cumin seeds
Salads with lots of the stuff you like & some bacon pieces or Chorizo to enhance the flavour
We make our own pesto (its got olive oil in it, but if the Italians can do it…) serve with pasta (not too much)
Marinade vege pieces and cook on a bbq or grill
Make a quiche (1 egg only) and top with roasted onions, mushys, peppers etc
I have a healthy diet and still don’t eat green vege

baked potatoes with a bit of salt & butter isnt to bad
also corn with a little butter/salt or even by itself is good
you can have brocolie with cheese
you can put tomatoes in your sandwitches or grilled cheese
whenever you make mac & cheese you can put corn or brocolie in it..with the cheese it tastes delicious
you can also put veggies in pasta sauces & theyll be smotherd in sauce that you’ll hardly notice there even there..
examples brocolie & corn as I said before, also onions & spinach/mushrooms/tomatoe chunks are easily hideable in sauces most of the time..anyways GoodLuck!

If you cook vegetables the right way then most of them taste great. Even Brussels sprouts!
    Try this recipe.
    Grilled Asparagus
Preheat your oven to 425 deg. Rinse asparagus and snap off the tough ends. Place the asparagus on a foil lined cookie sheet in a single layer. Drizzle a very small amount of olive oil over the asparagus and roll them around to coat. Sprinkle with salt (kosher is the best for almost all cooking). Bake for 8 minutes.

i find pickled beetroot delicious and its extremly healthy for you. also im not sure if its a vegatable..well i dont think it is but a few slices of ginger stewed in boiling water and then with a spoonful of honey is a really nice healthy drink. carrots and philidalphia is a nice snack too.

Probably because you have to heat them, and since it it summer you want cold foods? Maybe try a cold salad or potato salad or a smoothie with fruit mixed with veggies (fruit hides the veggies).
Here is a recipe for asparagus cake…http://www.recipesource.com/desserts/cak…

I like corn, with lots of pepper; broccoli and/or cauliflower with cheese sauce; asparagus sauteed in garlic butter…not necessarily healthy, but tastes good.
