You will have to eat food which gives you protein and a good source of energy. If your going to go on a diet, do it properly. Pasta is extremely good for you if you don’t eat loads and loads of it. Eat pasta in the morning and it will release energy slowly through out the day. If you are ot eating meat which gives you a good source of protein, eat other food which include protein, such as; peanuts. You won’t survive on just eating vegetables and fruits, so don’t do it, it will only make you tired all the time. Also drink lots of water, bottled water is best for you because tap water contains unwanted bacteria.

Fruit can be delicious choose fruit you like. As far as vegetables, there are so many ways to prepare so many things. It depends on what you like. Steamed cauliflower. Baked eggplant (cut off the ends, poke a few holes in the skin, bake it, let it cool a bit and peel it) is a nice side disk, alone or with stewed tomatoes. Green beans and tomatoes. A huge (and I mean huge) salad will kill your appetite, and it’s healthy.
Make sure you get all the proteins you need – either meat (3 or 4 ounces a day is enough) or both rice and beans. Also a little fat – fat is a dietary essential. Don’t go overboard, though – nuts contain oils, or you can use an oil and vinegar (or sesame oil and soy sauce) dressing on your salad.
Look at some vegan and vegetarian websites for recipes. (If you eat a whole head of Iceberg lettuce, you won’t be hungry, especially if that’s just part of the salad course.).

You definately need some protein in your diet.
Fruits and vegetables are very healthy and tasty, but you need to make sure it is balanced.
Prepare and snack on fruits and vegetables in a way that makes them tasty instead of bland and boring. Here are a few things I do with my fruits and vegetables:
1.Broccoli is one of my favorite vegetables to eat.I love it raw or cooked. My favorite is steamed and then in a seperate pan sautee them for a few with a little honey and a little soy sauce. It will thicken and stick to the broccoli…it will have a “teryaki” flavor.
2.Dips,for raw veggies dips are the way to go.I make a light dip for them by using low fat plain yogurt(you can use light sour cream if you prefer),and snipping in some chives and dill.Let this sit in the fridge over night and the flavors will merry together and you will have a light but tasty dip for carrots, cauliflower, pepper strips,or radishes etc. I often drizzle this as a dressing for salads.
3.Fruits,i love raw fruits so i never mix them with anything. However, you can make smoothies.Get a blender, and cut up a variety of fruits or berries add them in,add a handful of ice,a couple spoons of yogurt, and a little milk.Blend until it’s smooth.
4.You can invest in a juicer.Fresh juice is much tastier, and healthier than store boughten juices that have alot of added sugar. You will look forward to juice once you try fresh juices.
5.Fruit with yogurt.Get a bowl and add a cup of yogurt, put fresh items on top and a little bit of mint.It will brighten up everything and you will enjoy it.
Make sure you add protein whether it be from eggs(which by the way is very good when dieting),or from boneless skinless chicken breast.
Get creative with your food, you will look forward to meals and not dread “fruits and veggies”.

  • if your finding it hard then im not suprised! you need to have a reachable target first, add other things to the diet such as pasta and rice and potatoes and also abit of dairy, u need to have a balanced diet to be healthy. so vegatables and fruit on its own might not help. also get exersizing and have a treat now and then

you can’t. people who diet using “will power” end up gaining it all back, plus even more. fruits and veggies are fine, but all bodies need protein in order to keep muscles working well. You must add some sort of meat to your diet. Actually, chicken and turkey work well also, as do eggs for protein, shrimp, and all seafood.
Just leave out junk food, soda, and deep fat fried foods. And drink a lot of water to keep your body in good shape. Good luck, and forget will power: you’ll snap sooner or later and gain it all back, plus more.

No offense but sounds a pretty stupid diet to me! Im on a diet too and all im doing is eating muesli for breakfast, ryvita crackers and fruit for lunch and then a normal sized meal for dinner. And no snacking. Its all yummy so no willpower is needed! :) . Seriously, don’t eat just fruit and veg! You will get so hungry and then end up snacking on junk.
    Hope this helps! :)

everytime you lose a pound or two then buy a new dress, or a top or maybe a cute scarf or something. Reward yourself and make yourself feel better!!!
one of my favourtite diet quotes is “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”. Say that to yourself the next time you want a burger or some cake!!!
    Goodluck!!
