Without knowing how much you’re taking in in terms of calories, proteins, fats and whatever else, nobody can really say if you’re going to lose weight on this.
Let’s assume you need 2300 calories a day to maintain your weight as it is given your current activity level. You eat 2500 calories a day and burn off 300 so you’re only taking in a net 2200 calories. At this rate, it would take you 35 days to lose a pound.
Figure out how much you need to eat in a day and reduce that number by about 500 calories. Then go to the gym and do at least 45 minutes of cardio trying to burn another 500 calories.
If you stick to it, you’ll wind up losing about 2 pounds a week.

Veggies and protein are a good part of the recommended daily diet. However be sure you’re consuming water, milk, fruits and fish when possible as well.
A combination of all really helps the body not only stay healthy and be fit but assists in burning additional calories as well.
And eating a “treat” every now and again, that’s fine too. Just know your limits.
But all in all, sounds like you’re on your way to a healthier ‘you’!
