Does Juicing Fruits And Vegetables Give Me The Same Added Benefits As Eating It Whole?

I am pregnant and have a really hard time eating fruits and vegetables, I have been juicing everyday, is my baby getting the vitamins and minerals it needs to grow and develop into a healthy child or do I have to actually eat the fruits and vegetables whole?

It’s not bad, but it’s not the same. You’re missing things like the fiber found in the flesh of the fruit. I’m sure juicing is better then nothing at all, but just make sure you’re taking prenatal vitamins too. If you are still worried, talk to a nutritionist about other foods or combinations of foods that will get you all the nutrients you need.

if you are taking your vitamins and eating a healthy diet i think you baby will be okay as far as that goes. also i would think you are still getting the vitamins and minerals if you are juicing fresh fruits yourself but if you drinking store bought juice you might be getting a lot of extra sugar.

Juicing is what I do as well. You will get all the nutrients except for fiber which comes from eating the whole fruit – a lot of times juicing helps your body process the sugars faster too.
    Your baby will be fine.

    agree with Baby on Board.
You may just be missing out on the fibre, but you can get that other places as well!
    Happy juicing!

I think it’s great you are juicing! You might miss out on fiber, but you are getting the nutrients your baby needs.
