I’m vegan and I was told by a workmate that eating only fruits and vegetables causes you to become sterile (sexually not capable). This is the first time I’ve heard this. Does anyone know more about it?

Your workmate was just having a go at you or just pulling your leg. He was just jesting.
Presumably besides consuming fruit and vegetables you also consume some bread, cereals, pasta, rice and nuts as this would be much healthier than just fruit and vegetables and nothing else.

Now how is that possible? Since fruits and vegetables were made to improve development. And also, this is the first time I’ve ever heard of this as well and find it hard to believe that someone had the confidence and guts to tell you.
